Just so everyone knows, it's really easy to teach your kids to read. 1. Google "44 letter sounds" 2. Write 10-15 sounds on a whiteboard ("ie") 3. Rotate until memorized (15 min/day) 4. Switch to words/sentences from their favorite movies. Took ~3 months for both of my kids.
