Something interesting when designing high-load gear trains is to ensure the number of teeth on the gear and pinion are 'co-prime' with one another, i.e. their greatest common divisor is 1. Why? So all teeth meet each other an equal number of times, spreading wear evenly. https://t.co/JXTt7TD4k9
